About

Based in Horseshoe Bay, Texas, Bradley Veil is a new writer and poet. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Jurisprudence at a law school in Texas. Veil holds a degree from Sewanee; The University of the South, where he enjoyed studying Political Science, English, and Philosophy. He is an American descendant of Holocaust survivors from the Netherlands. His family’s struggle and courage continuously inspire his work, especially his Great Grandmother, who bravely fought in the Resistance. Veil’s Great Grandmother, a brilliant writer in her own right, believed that writing your thoughts in all forms was the best way to preserve your legacy. While attending Sewanee, Veil was fortunate enough to take Creative Writing courses from authors Kevin Wilson and David George Haskell.
